Businesses tend to need the same handful of jobs from us, arriving at different moments and in different combinations. We have packaged the ones that can be defined before anyone starts, covering earnings quality, valuation, buy-side and sell-side transaction work, financial modeling, lender and debt reporting, fund and portfolio finance, and monthly finance and CFO support. Each engagement carries its scope in writing with a fee against it, so you can read what you get, see what it costs, and ask for the one that fits your situation.
Each fee is shown at three business sizes, because the same engagement on a two million dollar business and on a forty million dollar one is two different jobs.
Most situations draw on two or three of these areas at once, and they are priced into a single engagement letter.
Open an area to see the engagements in it, what each one delivers and what it costs.
We build adjusted EBITDA and support every adjustment, from a written report up to a full databook a buyer's diligence team can test.
From $3,500We put a defensible range on the value of the business and show the analysis behind it, and we price what each deal term is worth to you in cash.
From $2,200We run the buy-side financial diligence, write up what we find, and build the transaction model you underwrite the deal on.
From $1,750We get the business ready to be sold, build the seller package, and prepare the answers to the buyer's questions through to close.
From $2,500We build operating and transaction models, and we review and repair a model you already have.
From $2,100We prepare the credit file and the lender memorandum, model the covenants, and set up the reporting your lender expects after close.
From $1,500 a monthWe build the fund model, produce the LP reporting, monitor the portfolio, and prepare the valuation workpapers and track record that sit behind it.
From $2,000 a monthWe build the consolidation and run reporting and shared finance across every entity in the group.
From $4,500 a monthWe build the model, get the numbers ready for a raise, and run the monthly reporting investors expect once the round closes.
From $2,500 a monthWe close the month, produce the reporting, and run as much of the finance function as you need, up to all of it.
From $3,950 a monthA CFO takes your board meetings, owns the budget and the lender reporting, and stays on through a raise or a sale.
From $4,500 a monthYou will get back a written scope, a fee and a timetable, and nothing starts until you sign it.

The fees published here are indicative, set against the scope described on each page, and a final quote is confirmed in writing before any engagement letter is issued. Nothing published here is an offer, and no engagement begins until a letter is signed by both sides. Work outside the stated scope is identified and quoted before it begins. Full payment or a 50% deposit on engagements under $10,000, and 50% at start with 50% at delivery above that. Turnaround is quoted on receipt of a complete information request and is a target rather than a term of the engagement. Fees are reviewed quarterly, and an engagement letter issued at a published fee holds that fee regardless of any later review. Work is prepared for the client named in the engagement letter and for that client's own use. Anyone else who receives it does so for information and cannot rely on it. Management accounts, consolidations and financial statements we prepare are built from the records management maintains and remain management's responsibility. We do not guarantee any particular outcome, including a sale, a financing, a valuation conclusion or a price. Our liability on any engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement.
